One of the most dangerous pests to deal with in South Jersey are Ticks. They are capable of transferring diseases such as Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and others to you after just 12 hours. The worst part about it is that they are so small that you may not even see or notice them until they are done feeding. It is essential that you keep your home and yard free of ticks for your family's safety. There are three main species of ticks that you might come across in South Jersey:
The different tick species will behave differently throughout the year. Most commonly ticks will wait in overgrown grasses, bushes or plants until another animal walks by and then jump onto the blood bearing animal or human. The tick will then bite into the animal or humans skin and begin to feed on their blood for up to a few days. During the first 24 hours or so, the tick will also transfer any diseases that it is infected with onto their prey which is how disease is spread so easily.
Ticks thrive in wooded and overgrown areas, which is why our treatments primarily focus on these areas. We will recommend that the overgrown areas, typically around the perimeter of your yard be maintained and cut shorter. Once that is done, we will treat anywhere in your yard where ticks are likely to be hiding and waiting! We recommend monthly tick service, during the tick season, to keep the population as low as possible and you and your family safe!

Ticks are typically found anywhere there is good ground cover, shade, and where they can be off of the ground. Most commonly they are found in the overgrown area of a yard, especially around the perimeter. They wait on taller plants and grasses until they can fall onto a prey such as a small animal, human or one of your pets.
The best ways to keep ticks from your yard is to keep your yard properly maintained. Keep the grass cut shorter, keep the debris clear off of your property including firewood and log piles.

During the inspection stage, we will explore your home looking for any and all pests and for signs of current or potential problems. Should we find any current problems, we will identify the potential reasons, access points, etc. If no active pests are identified, we will recommend a preventative plan program.
If an active pest or potential pest concern is identified, we will identify what type of pest it is, then prepare a strategic plan that includes eliminating the problem and preventing reoccurrence, as well as a maintenance plan.
Our commitment to you is top notch service. Treatment and plan options will be discussed with you to ensure all of your questions and concerns are addressed.
During the treatment stage, we will treat your home or property according to the plan. Preventative maintenance plans often involve spraying the perimeter of your home and sealing any openings with caulk. We will also treat the interior of your home - focusing on baseboards, near doors, windows seals and around appliances in the kitchen, and using monitoring tools, as appropriate, to measure activity changes.
Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed! Between program treatments and after a one-time treatment, we will follow up to ensure the treatments are working properly and that you are happy with our services! The safety of your family and a pest free home is our number one priority and we guarantee your satisfaction.
It is essential to contact us as early as possible, so we can get your pest situation under control! The longer you wait, the worse the problem will become and the more expensive it will be to get the problem fixed!
